I hadn't been to the zoo since I was 14 years old, and Hope hadn't been since college, so she came up with the idea of heading Downtown this past weekend to take the boys to the National Zoo.

We were so blessed by just watching Tyler as we came upon the various animals throughout the zoo. Our first exhibit was the tiger pit, and Tyler just stood on the railing for 5 minutes with a huge smile on his face watching the tiger move around the habitat. Awesome. (Owen wasn't that impressed. Haha.)

It is quite clear however, that the Panda bears are the "rock stars" of the entire zoo. Wow. They draw the biggest crowds, have the most illustrative exhibit area, and the most room to roam. Cool animals.

We had a great time together, and I am amazed at how wonderfully creative our God is.
