Thursday, August 28, 2008 - After having been up at 3:30am this morning for an hour and a half, and up again at 6am to feed Owen, I felt compelled to write a blog entry. So far things have been going as well as can be expected. Moreover, I find that we are growing more and more attached to precious Owen. He has been such a good boy, and even seems to be smiling more each day. I'm overwhelmed at God's Grace and blessing on our family. Hope and I have the two most wonderful boys that parents could ask, hope, or dream for. Taking care of Owen in the early hours of the morning has been a joy and a pleasure.
We love you Tyler and Owen with all of our hearts. We look forward to the honor of being faithful stewards of the incredible blessings that you are to us. We are excited to see you both grow and change and learn more each day. We believe that God will keep you in the palm of His mighty hand.
Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - Owen birthday photos, and a 60 second old video posted in the Photos section.
Tuesday, August 12, 2008 - It's a boy! Owen Walter Wojciech was born this morning at 2:08am. He weighs the exact same as his older brother did at 7lbs, and 6oz. and is a quarter-inch shorter measuring 20.25". We will post more information and photos when we can ...but I want to tell my wife that I love her. She is simply amazing.

Wednesday, August 6, 2008 - We had a 38 week appointment today, and everything seems to be progressing well. The contracting that I had on Monday has stopped. Dr. Wolf, John and I decided to have the baby Friday because Dr. Wolf will already be at the hospital that day for two planned deliveries. Plus, having the baby Friday will make Daddy's birth day guess of August 7th or 8th correct! Now we just have to get baby on board with our decision!
Tuesday, August 5, 2008 - After over-doing it a bit on Sunday, I ended up at the doctor's office on Monday afternoon with a lot of pain and soreness in my abdominal area. I could barely move and it hurt every time the baby kicked, which is still very often. She did an ultrasound and a non stress test to see if I was contracting, and I was. So I was sent home with directions to lie down and take it easy. I'm feeling much better today, but still not up to my usual activity level. Many thanks to Babcie, who watched Tyler during my doctor's visit, and to Babcie and Grandad for taking Tyler for the night so that I could rest.
Thursday, August 2, 2008 - Mommy takes all the blame for the blog having very few entries this time around. So I'll attempt to fill in some news from the past few weeks. While Daddy is busy guessing the baby's due date, many strangers and even a celebrity are trying to guess the baby's gender. A few weeks ago while having dinner with my good friend Tracy at Whole Foods, we ran into Emeril Lagasse who was there filming...something. The store was not terribly crowded, and I guess I stood out enough at 8 ½ months pregnant, because he called me over and proceeded to tell me that we were having a boy and then drill me on what I've been eating, which I was a little ashamed to admit (I thought Coke slurpees were good for a baby!) since I've probably eaten more cookies in the last 6 months then leafy green vegetables. I should have asked him for some cooking tips while I had my chance. So Emeril, and a few random strangers think we're having a boy. Guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks to find out!
We are seeing the doctor weekly now and everything is going well. This pregnancy has been very "average" that way.
Tyler's new room is now finished, minus a few decorations for the walls, and the bookshelf Daddy will build and paint to match the room. Tyler has been napping in his new bed and the transition from the nursery has been going as well as it can be. God is good! Here are some pictures of his big boy room:

Wednesday, July 30, 2008 - Sheesh, I hope this child forgives Mommy & Daddy for keeping such a lame baby blog in comparison to Tyler's. I guess the first born does get the best of everything. For the record, I think baby will be born on August 7th or 8th. The due-date is August 19th. I hope to get some photos up soon of Tyler's new room.
Sunday, July 6, 2008 - Our memory card reader died on us about two weeks. It just occured to me that I could hard-wire the digital camera directly to our computer. So we've got an update here.
Here are the "before" pictures of Tyler's room:

Saturday, June 14, 2008 - We had our fifth doctor's appointment a little over a week ago and all appears to be well. The baby's heartbeat is around 140 beats per minute, and he or she is still moving around and kicking quite a bit. We have settled on names for a boy or a girl, and are now having Tyler "practice" saying each name, so that he's ready when baby comes home.
We are focusing much of our time and energy on turning our guest bedroom into Tyler's new bedroom. We had the ceiling dry-walled this past week (as opposed to the ugly, fake wood paneling ceiling that was in the room before) and I had the much hated job of cleaning all the dry wall dust off the floor. As I was doing this, I was having flashbacks of doing the same exact job, in the same exact room, 4 years ago, just before our wedding. We hope to have the room finished by the beginning of August and will post some "before" and "after" pictures when we get a new memory card reader and can download the pictures to the computer.
Wednesday, May 21, 2008 - Well, we have finally started a blog for our little munki punkin #2. We hope this baby doesn't hold it against us, since Tyler's blog had many more entries by this point.
As of today, I'm 27 weeks along, only 13 more to go! I'm feeling much better, physically, than I was for the first 16 weeks of the pregnancy. Our lateness in starting this blog saved many of you the awful details of those early weeks :) There have been many differences between this pregnancy and Tyler's pregnancy, which led me to speculate that we are having a girl this time, but over the past 3 or 4 weeks this baby has become quite "kick-y," leading us to believe baby may once again be a boy. "He's" giving Tyler a run for his money in the kicking department, and John and I can only wonder what is going to be happening in another 12 weeks, since baby seems ready to come out now!
Below is a profile shot from our ultrasound at 20 weeks. We are happy to report that there were no abnormal results with the kidneys or any other part of the baby this time. We are so grateful to God for the blessing of another child, and know that He is creating baby exactly the way he or she is meant to be.
Tuesday, April 8, 2008 - A photo of me at 21 weeks along. Yay! We are halfway there!
December, 10, 2007 - We are pregnant with Baby #2! This is very big news, and we are so very grateful for this blessing. Key prayer requests are for baby to be healthy, and for our health insurance situation to work itself out. God is wanting to grow our Faith and Trust in Him, so pray that Hope and I receive His Grace to do so!
