Family Vacation - Ocean City, NJ - July 1st - 7th Once again God blessed us with a fabulous time at the Jersey Shore. The surf coulda been better, and it seems I say that every year. But we had some great fun in the sun. Our very special joy was to have Tyler on the beach with us for the very first time. He seemed to enjoy the sand initially, but less-so as the week moved along. Hope and I were really thankful we bought him a "beach tent" that he liked and even napped in on a daily basis. He cried pretty much everytime we put his feet in the water, but hey, it was about 70 degrees...which is 25 degrees cooler than his bath water! Tyler is also an official "crawler". As he now moves about with ease wherever he wishes. I guess he picked this up at the beach trying to keep up with his older cousins. Overall, it was a great week of relaxing, taking lots of walks, and spending some great time with extended family.
