Belief Statement on Marriage. Hope and I firmly believe that marriage is a lifetime commitment to one another, engineered and strengthened by God above. It will be by His Sovereign Grace alone that Hope and I remain in love 'till death do we part. We believe God outlines what He intended marriage to be as laid forth in the Scriptures. While we look forward to many wonderful, passionate, and peaceful times ahead, we believe the main purpose of marriage is to Glorify the One True God, and His Son, Jesus Christ. As we begin on this journey together, our hearts desire is to grow closer to Him and each other daily. We want to serve each other, and by His strength, live lives that will magnify our Savior. Each day and every breathe we take is a gift from our Creator. With the most precious gift of life, Hope and I intend to live that life worthy of His Calling. We love Jesus, and will rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us throughout our married life. Indeed, we will face many challenges, as two sinners like us attempt to live in harmony. We love, and are very much in love with, one another. But our hearts belong to a carpenter from Nazareth who died on a tree for our sins and for the sins of the world. May we forever start each day at the Cross of Calvary. And live in the joy, power, and strength of His Resurrection!
